Well,.once again, Just want to thank, the 'Team' at HSC, for providing us with another Good Days racing.
Not a 'Huge' rollout, for the 'Retro' Class, but Certainly a Happy, Fast and Friendly Bunch at the Track for the Two classes,...seemed like a damn fine turnout for the 'Wing 12's' !! and judging from the Sounds I heard and racing I managed to catch, was also a Great event !!,..
New Lap record for the Twelves !! as well !
Smiles all round !!,..Always a Good sign !!,..
I guess I Have to say the Retro race was Great as well,..lol,..BUT,..It Was actuall a Good race !!
Shame about Cody deciding he didn't actually want to Run in the Main, by pulling Out in the second Bracket !!,..Grrr !!, Would certainly have made a More Challenging Race, if he had stayed,..Plus, as he 'Pipped' Mark Fox,(Who TQ'd with a Brace of Laps under 5.00 seconds, a 4.8, being his best), for the 'Move Up'.,..Oh well.
Good Racing in the Two Heats, with some Good and very 'Courteous' driving, by All, with special Note of some of the Much Younger drivers Like Sean Wade, giving a Good Showing, on a 'Tough' Track, in what were Quite Tough conditions.
The Main was a Good race, even with the Small numbers, as it was Very Close through out the field and through the Race, and with My Motor Not 'Singing as 'Sweetly' as it Had at the Start, and Young Mikey's Motor seeming to Really 'Come On' towards the End and with Peter Dimmers doing a Typically Good Job of Staying on and being consistent, it proved to be a Very enjoyable Race !!, with Myself on 262, with Mikey 2nd with 258 laps and with Peter D in 3rd, with256.
Now,..if we can just sort out the Power 'Variances', across the Lanes,..Ahem,...like on Black !!,.,.Eeek !!
It will be Even Better !!,..
Hope the rest of the Weekends racing, proves to be as Good as Todays !!
