2009 Race in Rocky

The Dates for the Annual 2009 Race in Rocky are Friday 14th, Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th of August Rules and time table will be available by late Feb at the latest Classes S16D ,GTP 12 ,GP 12 Wing Car ,INT 15 ,GP27 & GP7.

in the rules, the wording of how the rear end, in particular, has to be made is a bit "foreign" to me. can someone help me out with example pics etc?

Well,.once again, Just want to thank, the 'Team' at HSC, for providing us with another Good Days racing.

Not a 'Huge' rollout, for the 'Retro' Class, but Certainly a Happy, Fast and Friendly Bunch at the Track for the Two classes,...seemed like a damn fine turnout for the 'Wing 12's' !! and judging from the Sounds I heard and racing I managed to catch, was also a Great event !!,..
New Lap record for the Twelves !! as well !

Carbon VS Aluminium

The reason why i have put this post up is just to get an idea. OK last weekend we had an omo race at hornsby and i ran an aluminium Beuf xpress chassis and it was like a pretzel after the race then after the race i practiced with a carbon car with the motor i raced and it was great to drive. So i still believe in aluminium handles better on red/black but the carbon car is just so much stronger i can go in any race and know im not going to bend a chassis.

National rules

How is progress on getting a set of national rules so we don't have to wait to the last minute.
Every year except for Rocky we have had to wait, it seems like some competition to see how late one can leave it before HAVING to publish rules.

Every year I find myself asking for the nats rules.
Only once have they been out early and that was for Rocky.
Come on guys get off your butt's and do something.
Once again this demonstrates the need for a national set of rules as it seems this is a task is way too difficult for most raceways.

A Great Loss

Just thought I would Take this Opportunity to 'Lament' the Loss of a Really Great Track, run by a Really Nice guy.

From looking around here and on Other forums, you would think Nothing has happened,...BUT

We have LOST a Really Good Raceway, That was Owned by a Really Keen Owner.

I Really Feel sorry for all those Really Good Racers and Damn nice people that I have met and Raced with when I have been at Pete's.
